Directions for use 

The 500ml PowerGrow makes up to 500 litres depending on dilution rate, (this is the new and improved bottle packaging). PowerGrow's adaptive formula can be used for foliar feeding, for potting mix to semi-hydroponics, or full hydroponics including water propagation. Simply adjust the dilution rate.

🍃Foliar Feed: Add 1ml / 1 litre water.

(spray foliage to the level of light coverage and avoid direct sun until foliage dries) 

🪴Potting mix: Add 2mls / 1 litre water.

💧Hydroponics: Add 4mls / 1 litre water.

 PowerGrow put to the test 

PowerGrow has been extensively tested on a wide range of tropical houseplants with samples selected to compare PowerGrow against a competitor liquid fertiliser. A control group was introduced to minimise other variables such as light and temperature. Samples were carefully selected to be as identical as possible. 

TEST PLANT EXAMPLES 

ABOVE: A selection of the test samples. Test plants with comparatively smallest root systems were selected to represent PowerGrow to avoid doubt.

PLANTS SELECTED

A variety of Syngonium, Philodendron, Monstera, Anthurium and Epipremnum were tested, including variegated specimens.

SUBSTRATE USED

Test plants potted into Leca and placed into test groups in individual containers, grown in identical conditions with consistent light and temperature across all groups. Leca was selected to avoid nutrients being introduced from the substrate. 

 The Results

BELOW: As well as an obvious size difference across the 3 groups, note the difference in colour. The competitor fertiliser (centre), outperformed the control group (right), but growth increase was less than expected.

ABOVE: Philodendron Gloriosum results. PowerGrow (left), produced larger and healthier growth. Note the colour difference and some leaf death of the competitor fertiliser also.

 
ABOVE: Slightly different story below the surface. Control plant root mass (right), seems more dense than the competitor (centre). PowerGrow (left) produced more root and foliage growth, but not a significantly larger root mass compared to the more significant different in foliage size and health. This is as a result of receiving the required nutrients in the amounts the plant needs to focus on producing new foliage rather than just roots.
