How it works
1. Put in dry soil
Place PlantDoc firmly into your plant's dry soil, white side facing out. Once in place, do not move (PlantDoc are fragile when wet). Water as usual.
2. Watch the colour change
PlantDoc will gradually turn from white to green when wet and the design will appear. As the soil dries, PlantDoc will slowly return to white.
3. Water when white
As PlantDoc returns to white, water according to your plant's needs.

PlantDoc FAQ's
Guide not gospel
Remember ALL moisture meters are only a guide, not gospel!
Moisture meters don't know what type of plant they're in. They can only tell you what the moisture level is, not when to water again, that's up to you.
Moisture meters only read the area of substrate they are placed in, not the entire pot side-to-side, top-to-bottom.
They are a handy tool to help you read the signs but don't ignore your plant's other signs they need water (such as wilting).
