Overweight or Oversize Shipping Rates

Shipping rates for overweight / oversize orders

Overweight / oversize shipping rates apply for heavy orders, or oversize boxes. The rates for Auckland are: $5 standard or $9 rural or Waiheke. For the rest of New Zealand rates are: $8 standard or $12 rural. 

The overweight / oversize shipping rates apply per 10 litres of potting mix, or for Pon it's per 4 litres due to weight. Some orders are hard to predict until packed, but no costs will be incurred without your permission.

You can add other items to the same order with overweight / oversize products. You can also order more than the limit in one order. If you order over 10 litres total in one order your order will be put on hold and we'll get in touch if oversize / overweight rates apply.

Orders tend to end up being overweight / oversize when you go over 10 litres of combined products (such as potting mix), but can also happen when you have a lot of large yet light items (such as large pot orders), or small yet heavy items (such as Bio Pon or Lechuza Pon). 

Note free shipping doesn't cover overweight / oversize orders. If your order is large or heavy, and over $99, you only pay the overweight shipping rate/s, you don't pay the normal shipping rate. 

If your order is overweight, you'll get an email with a link to pay the extra, no bank transfer needed. It's just added to your order, so the same website payment methods apply (credit card etc) and payment shows straight away so it won't delay shipping your order.

Or, if you prefer, you can reduce the size or weight of your order to avoid paying anything extra for shipping, and I'll send everything else and refund the items removed.
