These are one of those products you didn't know you needed until you own one. I would never repot without one now. Such a time-saver, and mess-saver! Keeps all the mess contained and protects any surface so you can repot anywhere, anytime, indoors or outside. Netflix and repot anyone? When you're done, just un-snap one corner to tip everything in the bin. Even better, tip the spilled potting mix back in the bag to keep for next time for no waste :)

The best-selling size

Potting mats come in a range of sizes but this size - 75cm x 75cm (flat) - is the best seller by far. Just snap the corners together and your mat turns into about 55 x 55cms of work space (the sides sit up about 10cm high once the corners are snapped together).

How to assemble

Couldn't be easier. Just snap the 4 corners together and you're ready to make a mess without making a mess! When you're done, un-snap one corner and tip the mess in the bin or back in the potting mix bag, give it a quick wipe down if needed, and fold or roll it up ready for next time.

What's it made of?

This type of fabric is called Oxford Canvas. Thick and water-resistant, it feels like canvas but lighter. It's water proof but not to the point of being used like a saucer for watering into, as the corners are still open at the edges even when snapped together. Think of it as splash-proof or water-resistant. Don't treat it like a plant paddling pool!

The outside has a cheerful jungle-print design in a mix of black, teal, green, mustard and hot pink (colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings). The inside is plain black. Finished with black webbing sewn around the edges and brass snap-close buttons.

Handy piece of kit!

Mum lives in a retirement village so it can be tricky repotting on the deck. This mat is great at keeping the area tidy and easy to scoop everything up and take it away when finished. Plus I love the pattern!

Should’ve purchased it sooner!

This product is great! If you’re thinking of getting one……dooo iiiit!! Honestly; it keeps the mess in one place and you can repot on a table instead of on the ground. This size is great if you don’t repot often. I repotted 4 plants today, all 14cm, no problemo. See pic for size of mat with things inside of it. If you needed to repot to a bigger size, you might want to consider a larger mat. Just a fabulous product.

Can't do without

I have 3 of these now in various sizes. I have daily usage and not just for potting. I use them watering out, temporary carpet protected, weeding mats as a seat. I'll probably find even more uses

Love this mat as it stops making a mess on our outdoor dining table when potting up my seedlings. Husband is also very pleased.
