Health and Safety for Spraying Insecticides and Pesticides
SAFETY FIRST
Follow best practice when handling or applying this product. The same safety precautions apply as for any spray treatment, including insecticides and fungicides, even those certified organic or generally safe.BEFORE USE
Read safety precautions on the label. Wear basic protective gear (PPE), including gloves and eye protection, when preparing and using the product. A coverall (like Painters overalls), is also recommended to protect clothing and reduce skin exposure.DURING USE
Spray the plant outside when possible. Take reasonable steps to focus spray on the plant and avoid spraying beyond application area. Spray in still air conditions using a hand-operated spray mister. Apply close to the plant to reduce spray drift. Use in a well-ventilated area. Intended for home and garden use. Not for commercial use or use in commercial equipment.
Avoid inhaling spray / mist. Avoid contact with eyes / skin. Avoid spraying near food / drink. Do not smoke when applying. Many treatments are also toxic to fish and aquatic organisms. Avoid applying onto or into water such as fishponds. May be harmful if swallowed. May cause eye irritation. May be flammable. Use is best avoided if pregnant. Oral exposure at repeated high doses may damage fertility or the unborn child.
AFTER USE
Wash clothing worn. Wash hands and exposed skin with soap and water. Thoroughly clean equipment used with suitable detergent after use to avoid contamination. Allow sprayed plant to dry before handling.
STORAGE
Store locked up, out of reach of children and pets. Store upright with the cap on. Store in a cool, dry area out of direct sunlight.
